If you wish to book a place for your stall for this year’s festival, please download the Stall Booking Form below and return it completed with a £60 booking fee by 1ST NOV 2017 at the very latest, to: Fiona Howard – contact details are on the bottom of the form. Stallholders are provided with a stall covered and with three sides, lights are provided and electrical supplies are available. Tables and chairs are NOT supplied and are the responsibility of each stall holder. There may be a few tables available for hire and enquiries should be made to Graham on: 07778 864 284.
We would like to encourage street entertainment throughout the Festival to add to the atmosphere. There are no bye-laws in Helensburgh that would prevent anyone busking, however please consider the best practice guidelines below, and note the legal situation – if the Police ask you to stop you MUST do so!
Copies of ALL relevant certificates should be supplied with booking forms and these include food hygiene certificates, electrical testing certificates, and public liability insurance. Anyone selling alcohol must supply certificates as above and is responsible for obtaining the appropriate licence from the licensing authority, in this case, Argyll and Bute Council. An area for drinkers must be allocated and fenced off and notices must be displayed stating that no alcohol can be taken outside the fenced area. As required by the Environmental Health department all units must have washing capability for hands and utensils as well as colour-coded chopping boards and coding charts on display.
